First-Year Student Engagement Associate

Responsibilities

• Build authentic relationships with first-year students through one-on-one conversations and intentional outreach
• Create welcoming pathways into Jewish life and help students navigate the transition to college
• Develop and support Shabbat dinners, holiday celebrations, and social gatherings
• Identify and mentor first-year students with leadership potential
• Partner with university offices, orientation programs, and student organizations to strengthen outreach
• Assist with marketing efforts, social media outreach, and communications

Requirements

• Bachelor’s degree
• 0-3 years of experience in Jewish nonprofit, student engagement, or a related field
• Demonstrated ability to build authentic relationships with college students
• Strong oral, written, and interpersonal communication skills
• Ability to work flexible hours including evenings, weekends, and holidays
• Familiarity with social media and marketing strategies
