First Robotics Competition Coach

Responsibilities

• Lead the First Robotics Competition (FRC) team through scheduled "Project" classes and after-school practices
• Manage build season activities, including several hours of practice per week and weekend work
• Participate in 2-3 competitions per school year, including regional/district events
• Handle inventory, material ordering, and recruitment of new team members
• Establish and maintain family communication protocols via the Remind app

Requirements

• Experience guiding or coaching a First Robotics Competition (FRC) team
• Ability to commit to varying weekly hours based on the season (Fall, Build Season, and Spring)
• Availability for weekend competitions
• Previous experience as an FRC competitor is preferred
