First Officer

Responsibilities

• Perform as 'Pilot Flying' or 'Pilot Monitoring' to assist the Captain in managing flight deck work
• Monitor flight progress, operating systems, and cockpit crew performance to ensure safety and efficiency
• Conduct flights in accordance with the Airline’s Operations Manual and civil aviation regulations
• Coordinate with the Captain and Dispatch Team regarding aircraft status, weather, fuel, and weight
• Complete necessary flight documentation, including logbooks, take-off data, and fuel requirements
• Alert the Captain to any irregularities or unfavorable variables affecting flight safety
• Maintain up-to-date knowledge of legal requirements from regulatory bodies and the aircraft manufacturer

Requirements

• Appropriate ATPL License, or CPL License with Frozen ATPL
• Minimum of 1500 hours of flying experience, with Airbus 320 experience preferred
• Successful completion of technical and psychometric assessments
• Ability to pass a medical fitness check-up per airline and civil aviation standards
• Proficiency in aircraft systems and Microsoft Office
• Strong written and verbal communication skills in English
• Training in safety and emergency response is essential

Preferred Qualifications

• Experience working with low-cost airlines
• Crew Resource Management (CRM) training
• Knowledge of IATA principles and standards relating to security
• Proficiency in Arabic or French languages
