First Line Test & Evaluation Engineering Manager

Responsibilities

• Manage employees performing engineering and technical activities in Test and Evaluation Engineering
• Develop and execute project and process plans, implement policies, and set operational goals
• Acquire resources for projects and provide technical management of suppliers
• Lead process improvements and provide oversight for technical approaches, products, and processes
• Develop and maintain relationships with customers, stakeholders, peers, and direct reports
• Manage, develop, and motivate team members

Requirements

• Associate’s Degree or higher, a Technical certificate or degree, or 4+ years of equivalent technical experience
• At least one year of experience in a leadership role (team leader, manager, or large-scale project management) or completion of Boeing's "Exploring Leadership" course
• Ability to obtain a U.S. Security Clearance (U.S. Citizenship required)
• Ability to work 100% onsite in Smithfield or Lemont Furnace, PA

Preferred Qualifications

• Earned Value Management / Cost Account Management training or certification
• Lock Out / Tag Out / Try Out (LOTOTO) training
• High Voltage Safety Training
• Environmental Stress Screening (ESS) and/or Environmental Qualification Testing experience
