First-Line Manufacturing Manager

Responsibilities

• Develop and execute integrated organizational plans, policies, and procedures to meet business goals
• Manage technical, cost, and schedule aspects of the Integrated Product Team (IPT)
• Lead process improvements and provide technical management of suppliers
• Manage, develop, and motivate employees through performance management and 1:1 coaching
• Identify training requirements and support the professional development of the team
• Mentor and coach engineers to facilitate knowledge transfer and grow future leaders
• Partner with design centers to develop staffing strategies for successful program execution

Requirements

• 5+ years of experience using LEAN Manufacturing and/or Continuous Improvement practices
• 5+ years of experience in an operations or manufacturing environment
• Experience in developing and implementing process improvements
• At least 1 year of experience in a leadership role (team leader, manager, or large-scale project management)
• U.S. Citizenship required to obtain a U.S. Security Clearance

Preferred Qualifications

• Bachelor’s degree or higher
• Previous project management experience
• Experience working with cross-functional teams
• Proficiency in Microsoft Office (Excel, PowerPoint, Word, Outlook)
• Excellent organizational and time management skills
