First Line Leader- E&I Maintenance

Responsibilities

• Lead a crew of four technicians in managing instrument and electrical maintenance activities for a corrugated medium mill
• Provide visible leadership in safety, environmental compliance, and employee engagement
• Manage technician daily workloads, including tasks, projects, preventative maintenance scheduling, and payroll
• Conduct one-on-one developmental discussions and coach employees to achieve team goals
• Support mill operations including Utilities, Stock Prep, and Paper Machine areas
• Facilitate problem-solving processes and support capital project development and implementation
• Maintain strong relationships with mill operations, maintenance, and management personnel
• Coordinate training and development for the crew to ensure technical proficiency

Requirements

• 3 to 5 years of industrial maintenance experience in an Instrument/Electrical role
• Technical knowledge of AC motors, instrumentation, pneumatics, and hydraulics
• Experience working with PLC/DCS systems
• Proficiency in Microsoft Excel and other spreadsheet programs
• Experience using SAP business systems and other databases
• Ability to support on-call technicians after hours when required
