About the role
Responsibilities
- Manage employees performing activities across multiple manufacturing disciplines
- Develop and execute business plans, policies, procedures, and technical strategies
- Lead electrical and modification teams for executive transport aircraft programs
- Provide oversight and approval of technical approaches, products, and processes
- Manage, develop, and motivate employees while driving safety and quality initiatives
- Acquire resources and provide technical management of suppliers to lead process improvements
- Maintain strong relationships with customers, stakeholders, and partners
Requirements
- 1+ years of experience in a leadership role (team leader, manager, or large-scale project management)
- 5+ years of experience in aircraft maintenance and/or modifications
- 1+ years of experience prioritizing multiple electrical projects to meet delivery schedules
- Valid FAA A&P Certificate or the ability to obtain one within 18 months
- U.S. Citizenship to obtain a U.S. Secret Clearance
- Ability to work variable shifts, including daily and weekend overtime as required
Preferred Qualifications
- A&P License or FAA Repairman Certificate in the specific type of maintenance performed
- Experience with 747 (-2) aircraft
