First Class Chief Power Engineer & Environmental Manager

Responsibilities

• Oversee powerhouse operations including boilers, steam, water systems, and utilities
• Plan shutdowns, inspections, and preventive or corrective maintenance schedules
• Manage site environmental programs covering air, water, waste, and GHGs
• Ensure strict compliance with all environmental laws, permits, and regulatory standards
• Lead energy efficiency and emission reduction projects to optimize performance
• Promote a strong safety culture and participate in incident investigations
• Lead, coach, and develop team members while ensuring required training and certifications

Requirements

• Valid 1st Class Power Engineer certification (mandatory)
• 5–10 years of experience in an industrial environment
• Proven experience in team leadership and regulatory compliance
• Ability to work in an industrial environment with on-call availability

Preferred Qualifications

• Higher education in an engineering or environmental field
• Knowledge of ISO 14001 standards
• Strong analytical, problem-solving, and communication skills
