About the Company
Delta-Q Technologies develops and supplies battery chargers to original equipment manufacturers (OEMs) of electric vehicles and industrial equipment. As part of the ZAPI GROUP, Delta-Q is a global leader in motion control, battery charging, and autonomous navigation software for electric and hybrid drive systems.
Responsibilities
- Design and implement digital control algorithms and embedded firmware for battery chargers and power converters using DSPs and MCUs
- Develop and tune feedback control loops (voltage, current, and power) to ensure system stability and regulation accuracy
- Implement and optimize low-level driver code for peripherals such as ADC, PWM, DAC, SPI, I2C, CAN, and UART
- Collaborate with Power Electronics, Hardware, and Systems teams to define control architectures and interfaces
- Debug embedded software on target hardware using debuggers, emulators, and lab instrumentation
- Mentor and coach other firmware engineers to contribute to technical capability development
Requirements
- Degree in Computer Engineering, Electrical/Electronic Engineering, Computer Science, or Mechatronics
- 10+ years of professional embedded software development experience
- Expert proficiency in C and experience in digital control and DSP-based embedded systems
- Hands-on experience developing and tuning digital control algorithms for power electronics
- Strong understanding of power converter topologies (AC/DC, PFC, DC/DC, DC/AC)
- Practical experience with RTOS-based embedded systems (e.g., FreeRTOS, Zephyr)
- Proficiency with lab equipment such as oscilloscopes, logic analyzers, and DMMs
Preferred Qualifications
- Experience with scripting languages like Python or Bash
- Knowledge of communication protocols such as J1939, Modbus, or Ethernet
- Exposure to CI/CD pipelines and automated test frameworks
- Experience with safety-critical or regulatory-compliant firmware development (e.g., ISO 26262)
