Firmware Verification Engineer

Responsibilities

• Develop validation strategies and test methodologies for assigned firmware modules
• Design, program, debug, and modify test software and firmware
• Build best-in-class test packages to validate firmware performance
• Perform failure analysis to identify root causes and implement solutions
• Review testing requirements and influence future product designs for improved debuggability
• Interface with stakeholders to ensure firmware verification meets product expectations
• Continuously improve existing processes and systems to align with industry trends

Requirements

• BE/ B.Tech degree
• 1+ years of experience in the Storage or Embedded industry
• Experience in embedded firmware validation and test case development
• Proficiency in white box testing and test script development
• Strong programming skills in C, C++, and Python
• Experience with failure analysis, including reproducing and root-causing issues
• Solid understanding of the Software Development Life Cycle (SDLC)

Preferred Qualifications

• Experience working with Flash memory technologies
• Knowledge of system architecture
