Firmware Validation, Co-Op

Responsibilities

• Assist with the development and maintenance of automated build systems and test frameworks
• Implement programs and scripts for automated functional testing of camera devices
• Execute test plans and document any issues discovered during the testing process
• Collaborate with firmware developers to reproduce and resolve identified issues
• Interact with the Quality Assurance team to ensure correct testing procedures are followed
• Develop a deep understanding of firmware components and their interactions

Requirements

• Enrollment in an accredited university undergraduate program
• Proficiency in Python or other scripting languages
• Experience working in a Linux environment
• Experience with C++, Make, and bash
• Understanding of networking protocols such as HTTP, TCP, UDP, and IP

Preferred Qualifications

• Experience with embedded systems
• Knowledge of digital imaging, photography, and audio/video coding
• Experience with debugging tools and version control systems
• Experience with test management and issue tracking tools
• Strong problem-solving and troubleshooting capabilities
