Firmware Engineering Intern

Responsibilities

• Design, implement, and test firmware in C/C++ on bare-metal, RTOS, and embedded Linux systems
• Develop and debug device drivers, communication interfaces, and low-level system behavior
• Read schematics and interpret datasheets to understand software interaction with circuits and sensors
• Contribute to fleet-critical systems including high-rate telemetry and automated fault detection
• Collaborate with hardware, power electronics, and platform software engineers

Requirements

• Solid understanding of C/C++, embedded systems concepts, and basic computer architecture
• Experience with microcontrollers, RTOS, sensor integration, robotics, or power electronics
• Interest in hardware debugging using tools like oscilloscopes and logic analyzers
• Clear and concise communication skills
• A builder's mindset and ability to thrive in fast-paced environments
