Firmware Engineer

Responsibilities

• Drive AI-assisted firmware development by applying emerging AI tools to accelerate coding, debugging, validation, and automation.
• Design and develop platform BIOS based on silicon and board features.
• Collaborate on end-to-end firmware flows and component integration.
• Participate in triage, debug, and validation processes across the product lifecycle.
• Write high-quality, scalable code in C and/or ASM to deliver BIOS solutions for server platforms.

Requirements

• 5+ years of experience in BIOS, firmware, or system software development.
• Solid knowledge of x86 system architecture.
• Proficiency in C programming.
• Knowledge of server hardware interfaces such as PCIe, DDR5, and NVMe.
• Familiarity with ACPI and SMBIOS standards.
• Bachelors or Masters degree in Computer Science, Computer Engineering, Electrical Engineering, or an equivalent field.

Preferred Qualifications

• Experience with AMI AptioV BIOS.
• Experience with x86 assembly.
• Knowledge of additional hardware interfaces including Ethernet, SATA, AHCI, SPI, and I2C.
