Firmware Control DSP Engineer

Responsibilities

• Design, analyze, and troubleshoot firmware code for embedded systems and control algorithms
• Develop firmware test specifications and support the product lifecycle
• Collaborate with technical support teams to resolve field issues
• Cooperate with other engineering functions to define product specifications
• Support testing teams in defining test plans and reviewing results
• Produce technical documentation including drawings and component specifications

Requirements

• Master's degree in Software Engineering, Electronic Engineering, or an equivalent field
• 3+ years of experience in control algorithms design (PID regulator, Clarke and Park transforms, Digital filtering, Hardware in the loop)
• Proficiency in Simulink and Matlab
• Strong knowledge of C language based on DSP real-time system architecture
• Experience with DSP/MCU architecture (preferably TI oriented)
• Proficiency with version control tools such as Git/GitLab or SVN
• Good English language proficiency

Preferred Qualifications

• Experience with communication protocols including CAN Bus, I2C, SPI, and Serial
• Familiarity with PWM, ADC Converters, and electronic power converters
• Experience with laboratory instruments such as multimeters, oscilloscopes, and power meters
• Background in UPS, Inverters, Power converters, or low voltage electrical distribution
• Knowledge of Product Life Cycle management (PLM) processes
