Firmware Automation Engineer

Responsibilities

• Support the deployment, maintenance, and improvement of Python-based test frameworks
• Develop and execute automated test scripts using Python
• Perform USB protocol verification, debugging, and troubleshooting
• Participate in both manual and automated testing methodologies
• Document test procedures and results while contributing to user-friendly tool documentation
• Collaborate with validation engineers to ensure comprehensive test coverage and product quality
• Assemble and wire electronic test benches, including sensors, connectors, and harnesses

Requirements

• 3+ years of experience in software testing, automation, or embedded systems validation
• Proficiency in Python programming
• Experience with lab equipment such as oscilloscopes, USB analyzers, power supplies, and voltmeters
• Knowledge of communication protocols including UART, USB, Ethernet, or Bluetooth
• Bachelor’s Degree in ECE/EEE
• Strong problem-solving and analytical skills regarding electronic circuits and signal integrity
