Firmware and Software Engineer

Responsibilities

• Design, code, and debug applications using various software languages
• Collaborate with engineering teams to evaluate and identify optimal software solutions
• Support the complete software development lifecycle, including design, testing, and upgrades
• Perform code reviews, analyze execution plans, and refactor inefficient code
• Contribute to technology strategy and execute software engineering proof of concepts
• Ensure security throughout the development lifecycle to deliver trusted products
• Manage and update issue-tracking systems when gaps in code or documentation are found

Requirements

• Four-year or Graduate Degree in Computer Science, Information Technology, Software Engineering, or a related discipline
• 2-4 years of software development experience
• Proficiency in C or C++
• Knowledge of Agile methodology
• Experience with API and automation

Preferred Qualifications

• Programming language certifications in C or C++
• Experience in software architecture and full stack development
• Understanding of scalability and software engineering best practices
