Fireplace Installer

Responsibilities

• Install and assemble fireplaces, stoves, and inserts according to manufacturer specifications and local building codes
• Perform site assessments and measurements to ensure proper fit and compliance with ventilation requirements
• Run venting systems, gas lines, and electrical connections as needed for each installation
• Inspect and troubleshoot existing fireplace units to diagnose problems and perform repairs or maintenance
• Safely operate tools, equipment, and lifting devices for installation tasks
• Provide clear communication with customers about product operation, maintenance, and safety guidelines
• Maintain a clean and safe work area and follow all company policies and OSHA standards

Requirements

• High school diploma or equivalent
• Previous experience as a fireplace installer, HVAC technician, or similar trade preferred
• Knowledge of gas, venting, and electrical systems
• Ability to read and interpret blueprints, technical manuals, and installation guides
• Strong mechanical aptitude and troubleshooting skills
• Physically able to lift 50+ lbs and work in various environments including tight spaces and heights
• Valid driver’s license and clean driving record

Preferred Qualifications

• Bachelor’s degree in business, Sales, or a related field
• Knowledge of building codes, safety regulations, and industry standards
