Firefighter/Group Leader

Responsibilities

• Manage emergency responses for accidents, injuries, or damages until public emergency services arrive
• Ensure constant operational readiness within the safety team
• Implement preventive fire and accident protection measures, breakdown assistance, and fire watches
• Protect lives, personnel, and physical assets such as buildings and infrastructure
• Monitor the test track via the operations center to ensure smooth workflows
• Work in a two-shift model (8-hour shifts) from Monday to Friday

Requirements

• More than 5 years of experience in a volunteer fire department
• Mandatory medical fitness according to G 25
• Very good German language skills (written and spoken)

Preferred Qualifications

• Qualification as a Group Leader (Gruppenführer)
• Qualification as a First Responder
• Additional certifications such as Fire Protection Officer, hydrant testing, or equipment maintenance
• Medical fitness according to G26.3
• Good English language skills
