Firefighter

Responsibilities

• Perform rapid and professional intervention during fire and damage incidents based on received instructions
• Maintain and restore the operational readiness of firefighting equipment and resources after use or during periodic checks
• Adhere to all relevant occupational safety regulations during interventions and internal or external work tasks
• Execute additional service-related tasks as assigned by the service leader or their deputy

Requirements

• Hungarian citizenship and permanent domestic residence
• Minimum 18 years of age with full legal capacity to act
• Clean criminal record
• Secondary state education (Matriculation/Érettségi)
• Valid PÁV-1 fitness certification

Preferred Qualifications

• Basic firefighting qualification according to BM Decree 9/2015. (III. 25.)
• Category "C" or "C+E" driver's license
• Previous experience as a firefighting leader
• Higher state or professional qualifications
