Fire Suppression Technician

Responsibilities

• Conduct detailed inspections of pre-engineered kitchen hood suppression systems
• Perform routine maintenance to ensure compliance with state, local, and national codes
• Document all inspections, maintenance, and repairs accurately
• Install new fire suppression systems and components
• Diagnose and repair malfunctioning or damaged systems
• Respond to emergency service calls
• Educate customers on proper system use and maintenance

Requirements

• At least 1 year of experience in fire system installation, inspection, and maintenance
• Fire Suppression License for Pre-Engineered Commercial Hood Systems preferred
• Proficiency with power and hand tools
• Strong understanding of fire safety codes
• Ability to lift up to 50 lbs and perform physically demanding tasks
• Valid driver's license and reliable transportation
