About the role
Responsibilities
- Lay out, assemble, install, takeover, retrofit, and service wet and dry sprinkler systems, backflow devices, and pumps
- Troubleshoot and repair systems to meet state and local codes
- Perform regular inspections of fire sprinkler systems in accordance with NFPA 25
- Interface sprinkler systems with fire alarm systems or monitoring devices
- Communicate with customers to explain work and address concerns
- Maintain organized vehicle and perform routine inventory checks of tools and parts
- Complete inspection reports, service orders, and timesheets daily
Requirements
- High School Diploma or Equivalent
- Valid Driver’s License with a clean driving record
- 5+ years of related experience
- Mechanical aptitude and problem-solving skills
- Ability to lift up to 100 pounds and work at heights/on ladders
- Proficiency in basic computer skills
Preferred Qualifications
- Sprinkler Apprenticeship program graduate
- Advanced Technical School Training
- NICET Level 2 certification
