About the role
Responsibilities
- Install fire sprinkler systems according to design specifications and company standards
- Inspect and maintain existing sprinkler systems to ensure compliance with safety codes and regulations
- Troubleshoot and perform repairs on fire protection systems
- Read and interpret blueprints, technical drawings, and NFPA codes
- Collaborate with team members, project managers, and clients
- Maintain a safe work environment following OSHA and company safety procedures
Requirements
- Minimum 2 years of experience as a Fire Sprinkler Technician
- Proficiency with wet, dry, and pre-action sprinkler systems, backflow devices, and fire pumps
- Knowledge of NFPA 13, 20, and 24 codes
- Ability to read and interpret fire system design drawings and blueprints
- Valid Fire Sprinkler Technician license as required by state
- Ability to pass government and security background checks
