Fire Sprinkler Technician

Responsibilities

• Perform inspection, testing, and maintenance of fire sprinklers and associated infrastructure in accordance with applicable standards
• Execute repairs and installations for wet and dry suppression systems and infrastructure
• Coordinate life safety system impairments with operational and maintenance personnel for repairs and new installations
• Inspect fire extinguishers and maintain a current understanding of all relevant facility infrastructure and equipment
• Contribute to a culture of continuous improvement and support technical advancement initiatives

Requirements

• USA citizenship and a TS/SCI security clearance or higher
• NICET II or III certification in Inspection and Testing of Water Based Systems
• Minimum of 2 years of experience in a similar role
• Demonstrated experience working within facility maintenance or a similar technical environment
• Strong understanding of Work Health Safety (WHS) Act and EHS policies and procedures
• Ability to physically carry moderate to heavy loads and access cramped or uneven maintenance environments

Preferred Qualifications

• NICET I or II in Fire Alarm Systems or Special Hazards Systems
• Experience with Notifier systems
• Relevant trade qualification
• Experience using Enterprise Resource Planning (ERP) software such as SAP or Archibus
• Proficiency with Microsoft Office Suite
