Fire Sprinkler Foreman

Responsibilities

• Lead and manage crews on job sites to ensure work is completed safely and in compliance with design specifications
• Assign daily tasks, monitor progress, and provide on-the-job training and mentorship to crew members
• Perform installation, takeover, or retrofit work per design
• Interface sprinkler systems with fire alarm systems or monitoring devices
• Troubleshoot, identify, and repair systems to meet state and local codes
• Perform tests to verify correct system-wide function
• Visually inspect all system components, connections, heads, pumps, and valves
• Interface with customers to explain work and address concerns
• Promote a culture of safety by enforcing company policies and proper PPE use
• Maintain organized company vehicles and perform routine inventory checks
• Complete required paperwork including inspection reports and timesheets daily

Requirements

• High School Diploma or Equivalent
• Valid Driver's License and clean driving record
• 5+ years of related experience
• Mechanical skills and aptitude
• Proficiency in basic computer skills
• Strong written and verbal communication skills
• Ability to work independently with limited supervision
• Ability to lift up to 100 pounds and work at heights

Preferred Qualifications

• Sprinkler Apprenticeship program graduate
• Advanced Technical School Training
• NICET Level 2 Certification
