Fire Sprinkler Fitter

Responsibilities

• Install, modify, and repair fire sprinkler systems
• Follow safety regulations and wear required safety equipment
• Adhere to company and industry standardized practices
• Complete work tickets and maintain accurate documentation
• Solve practical problems and create action plans
• Train and coach fire sprinkler apprentices
• Attend training and safety meetings

Requirements

• 3+ years of fire sprinkler installation experience
• Knowledge of NFPA13, 25, and California Fire Code
• Ability to travel out-of-state for business needs
• Valid driver's license and acceptable motor vehicle record
• Ability to read blueprints, drawings, and inspection reports
• Proficiency with mechanical tools including saws, wrenches, and pipe threaders
• Availability to work weekends, evenings, and holidays as needed

Preferred Qualifications

• Valid Cal Fire fitter certification or trainee status
