Fire Service Technician

Responsibilities

• Diagnose, service, and repair electronic fire alarm systems and related building products at customer sites
• Troubleshoot and repair installed systems, including panel repair, reprogramming, and device replacement
• Read and interpret blueprints, diagrams, schematics, and operational product manuals
• Communicate with customers and district staff to ensure high levels of satisfaction and provide technical solutions
• Complete service documentation and obtain customer signatures using mobile devices
• Participate in a scheduled on-call rotation and assist in mentoring team members
• Provide product recommendations and quotes to improve facility efficiency

Requirements

• 2+ years of documented experience in low voltage electrical systems (Fire/Life Safety, Access Control, etc.)
• Oklahoma Commercial Fire Alarm license (or willingness to obtain)
• High School Diploma or equivalent
• Ability to read and interpret blueprints, submittals, and technical manuals
• Valid driver's license and a driving record that meets company requirements
• Physical ability to lift and move equipment up to 50-70 lbs
• Ability to work in difficult positions, including climbing ladders, scaffolding, and working in confined spaces

Preferred Qualifications

• NICET Level II certification
• Experience with CCTV, IT, and IP networks
