Fire Service Technician

Responsibilities

• Conduct routine inspections, testing, servicing, and preventive maintenance on electrical, sprinkler, or suppression life safety systems
• Perform electrical repairs and minor programming changes to systems
• Maintain accurate documentation of work performed using mobile devices and laptops
• Work with low voltage wiring and associated devices
• Adhere to all company safety policies and procedures while working in various environments, including climbing ladders or scaffolding
• Manage a highly structured inspection schedule to meet customer needs

Requirements

• Experience in installation or service, specifically testing and inspecting Fire Alarm Equipment
• Journeyman electrical license
• High School Diploma or equivalent
• Valid Driver’s License with a good driving record
• Ability to obtain NICET I certification within one year of employment
• Basic computer skills, including Microsoft Office (Excel, Word, Outlook) and smartphone proficiency
• Ability to perform physical labor, including carrying equipment up to 70lbs
