Fire Protection Technician

Responsibilities

• Perform preventive fire protection inspections and monitor fire protection equipment
• Identify high-risk fire areas and determine the required number of fire watch members
• Conduct fire protection training and professional preparation for fire watch teams
• Develop, maintain, and manage fire protection documentation in accordance with current status
• Determine fire safety requirements for building usage and changes in usage
• Organize and evaluate fire drill alarms
• Prepare internal regulations, guidelines, and reports
• Propose measures to improve fire prevention and oversee compliance at workplaces
• Communicate with authorities and external partners
• Monitor changes in fire protection legislation

Requirements

• Education in fire protection, OSH (BOZP), or technical fields
• Minimum of 2 years of experience as a Fire Protection Technician
• Language skills: English (B1) or German (B1)
• Valid Category B driving license
