Fire Protection Technician

Responsibilities

• Participate in the design and implementation of fire protection projects in institutional, industrial, and commercial settings.
• Perform and interpret hydraulic calculations to ensure system efficacy.
• Collaborate with fire protection and building mechanics experts on local and international projects.
• Develop innovative solutions to complex fire safety engineering problems.

Requirements

• College diploma in mechanical engineering or other relevant technical training.
• 7 years of professional experience in fire protection.
• Strong knowledge of NFPA (National Fire Protection Association) standards.
• Proficiency with HydraCalc software.
• Solid understanding of fire safety engineering principles.
• Excellent analytical, problem-solving, and prioritization skills.
• Knowledge of English is an asset for international collaboration.

Preferred Qualifications

• Possession of an ASP construction card.
