Fire Protection Sprinkler Fitter

Responsibilities

• Read blueprints and schematics to plan and install fire sprinkler systems
• Cut, thread, and assemble pipes, valves, and sprinkler heads
• Diagnose and repair existing sprinkler systems and replace damaged parts
• Adhere to all company safety policies and OSHA requirements
• Use appropriate tools and equipment safely in various environments

Requirements

• Ability to read blueprints and schematics
• Proficiency with hand and power tools
• Mechanical aptitude and problem-solving skills
• Physical stamina for manual labor including lifting and climbing
• Strong attention to detail
• Excellent communication and customer service skills
• Valid driver's license
• Completion of an apprenticeship

Preferred Qualifications

• Backflow prevention device certification
