Fire Protection Inspector

Responsibilities

• Perform routine inspections, service, and maintenance of fire sprinkler, standpipe, and alarm systems
• Conduct flow tests, fire pump tests, hydrostatic tests, and main drain tests
• Inspect and service clean agent, CO2, and access control systems
• Test backup batteries, keypad programming, and sirens to diagnose malfunctions
• Use iPad software to complete digital inspection forms, material entry, and time recording
• Interface with customers to explain work performed and address concerns
• Troubleshoot wet, dry, and pre-action systems following NFPA 25 standards

Requirements

• High School Diploma or equivalent
• Valid Driver’s License with a clean driving record
• Minimum 3 years of experience in the fire protection industry
• Mechanical aptitude and problem-solving skills
• Ability to climb ladders, work at heights, and lift up to 100 pounds
• Proficiency in basic computer skills
