Fire Protection Engineer

Responsibilities

• Perform site walks and field coordination to track construction progress and communicate with stakeholders
• Provide technical oversight for fire-alarm and fire-protection systems on construction projects
• Manage proactive risk management, quality control, safety, and compliance
• Conduct RFI and submittal reviews to ensure design intent meets field execution
• Oversee budget and cost control, including managing change orders and avoiding scope gaps
• Utilize technical knowledge to drive rapid issue resolution and prevent project delays

Requirements

• 3-5 years of construction experience related to fire alarm and/or fire protection
• Proficiency in NFPA, IFC, and IBC codes
• Experience with project commissioning
• Project management or construction management experience and certification

Preferred Qualifications

• Bachelor of Engineering degree
• Experience within the semiconductor industry
