Fire Project Manager

Responsibilities

• Lead end-to-end project execution for fire alarm, security, and communications systems from design through field installation
• Build and manage comprehensive project plans, including schedules, budgets, and resource allocation
• Facilitate Work-in-Progress (WIP) reviews to proactively manage risk, cost, and timeline performance
• Ensure full compliance with industry codes, standards, AHJ requirements, and internal processes
• Act as a central communication hub between internal teams, clients, vendors, and stakeholders
• Drive financial performance by managing change orders and identifying margin improvement opportunities

Requirements

• 3+ years of project management experience in fire protection, electrical systems, construction, or a related technical field
• Proven ability to interpret and work from complex architectural, mechanical, and electrical drawings
• Advanced proficiency in Microsoft Excel, including building tracking tools and leveraging cross-sheet data
• Strong multitasking and prioritization skills with a track record of meeting critical deadlines
• Excellent communication skills to engage both internal teams and external clients

Preferred Qualifications

• Bachelor’s degree in Engineering, Construction Management, Business, or a related field
• Working knowledge of applicable building codes, industry standards, and Underwriters requirements
• NICET Level II certification or higher
