Fire & Life Safety Engineer/Consultant

Responsibilities

• Manage and coordinate the technical workload for hospitality projects across Europe and Africa
• Travel extensively (over 50%) to support client meetings, workshops, and site inspections
• Attend project and design meetings as the primary representative of Jensen Hughes in the region
• Prepare and present technical reports and engineering presentations following established procedures
• Perform design reviews with increasing autonomy as technical expertise grows
• Support business development efforts, including client presentations and proposal development

Requirements

• Technical Degree in any Engineering specialty
• Proven experience in site inspection, code consulting, or the design of fire suppression and alarm systems
• Fluency in both English and Italian (written and spoken)
• Willingness to travel more than 50% of the time across Europe and Africa
• Strong interpersonal and report-writing skills with the ability to present technical concepts clearly

Preferred Qualifications

• Chartered Engineer or Professional Engineer (PE) status
• Previous experience working within the hospitality sector
• Proficiency in additional European languages such as German or French
