Fire Door Contracts Manager

Responsibilities

• Manage fire door contracts from tender stage through to project completion
• Prepare estimates, quotations, and cost plans for remedial and installation works
• Monitor project costs, budgets, and financial performance to ensure commercial targets are achieved
• Coordinate and manage multiple projects and programmes of work simultaneously
• Ensure all works are completed in accordance with fire safety legislation, British Standards, and third-party certification
• Support quality assurance processes, inspections, and compliance audits
• Build and maintain strong working relationships with clients, subcontractors, and internal stakeholders

Requirements

• Experience in a similar contracts, compliance, or operational management role
• Experience with BM Trada installation and maintenance scheme
• Strong understanding of fire door remedial and installation works
• Experience managing multiple projects within live environments
• Commercial awareness in pricing, estimating, and budget management
• Strong understanding of compliance and quality assurance
• Excellent communication and stakeholder management skills
• Competent IT skills including Microsoft Office

Preferred Qualifications

• Background in Facilities Management, Construction, or Passive Fire Protection
• Trade qualification in Carpentry, Mechanical, or Electrical disciplines
• Knowledge of third-party certification schemes and fire door compliance standards
• Experience working within healthcare, education, or residential sectors
