Fire Alarm Service Technician

Responsibilities

• Troubleshoot, repair, and inspect fire alarm systems and associated systems
• Perform occasional installations and provide recommendations for system improvements
• Maintain a clean and safe work environment and company vehicle
• Provide clear documentation of work performed and follow instructions accurately
• Communicate professionally with customers regarding work performed
• Participate in an on-call rotation

Requirements

• Minimum of 3 years of field experience in fire alarm system repair, service, or installation
• High school diploma or equivalent
• Solid understanding of fire alarm products
• Working knowledge of NFPA 72 and NFPA 70 standards
• Valid driver's license and acceptable motor vehicle record
• Ability to participate in rotating on-call shifts

Preferred Qualifications

• Fire Alarm Panel Programming experience
• Field certifications such as NICET or FASA/BASA
