Fire Alarm Service Technician

Responsibilities

• Install, inspect, test, maintain, and repair fire alarm systems in compliance with applicable codes and standards
• Troubleshoot system malfunctions and recommend necessary repairs or upgrades
• Complete detailed service reports and maintain accurate records of work performed
• Coordinate effectively with customers, project managers, and team members
• Adhere to all safety protocols and company policies
• Keep current with the latest fire alarm technologies, industry standards, and local codes

Requirements

• High school diploma or equivalent
• Minimum 2 years of experience servicing fire alarm systems
• Valid state fire alarm technician license or ability to obtain one
• Strong knowledge of fire alarm systems, components, and NFPA standards
• Physical ability to work at heights and lift equipment
