Fire Alarm Service Technician

Responsibilities

• Conduct detailed inspections and routine maintenance of fire alarm, sprinkler, and backflow systems
• Perform repairs on malfunctioning or damaged systems
• Maintain accurate documentation of inspections, maintenance, and repair activities
• Ensure all fire suppression equipment meets required safety standards
• Educate customers on proper use and maintenance of systems
• Respond to emergency service calls as required
• Work collaboratively with the fire protection team to ensure safety compliance

Requirements

• Experience in fire system inspection, maintenance, and repair (Fire Alarm, Sprinkler, Backflow, Extinguisher, etc.)
• Proficient in the use of power and hand tools
• Ability to lift up to 50 pounds independently
• Strong analytical and problem-solving skills
• Excellent communication and customer service skills
• High school diploma or equivalent
• Valid driver’s license and reliable transportation

Preferred Qualifications

• Passed Fire Inspection License (CSA) for Colorado Springs/Denver
• Further technical training in fire protection systems
