About the role
Responsibilities
- Design and layout of Fire Alarm systems in AutoCAD per code requirements
- Layout of Access Control systems in AutoCAD per code requirements
- Communicate technical concepts to sales reps, operations team, and customers
- Build equipment submittals
Requirements
- 2-5 years of experience with Fire Alarm systems layout per NFPA 72 & 101
- Proficiency in AutoCAD 2019 or newer
- Knowledge of required fire codes
- Proficiency in Microsoft Excel, Word, and Outlook
- Ability to engage with local AHJs regarding code requirements
Preferred Qualifications
- Notifier alarm system experience
- Licensed Texas APS (Alarm Planning Superintendent)
- Experience with Fire Suppression systems (Clean Agent, CO2)
- Licensed Texas EPL (Extinguisher Planner’s License)
