Fire Alarm Designer/AutoCAD Drafter

Responsibilities

• Use AutoCAD 2019 or later to create layouts for low voltage systems including fire alarm, card access, and security
• Coordinate local, state, national, and international applicable codes
• Create technical submittals including data cut sheets and specified equipment
• Communicate technical concepts to sales representatives, operations teams, and customers
• Perform other duties as assigned by management

Requirements

• Proficiency in AutoCAD 2019 or later
• Proficiency in Microsoft Excel, Word, and Outlook
• 2-5 years of experience with fire alarm system layouts preferred
• 2-5 years of experience working with fire alarm systems preferred
• Knowledge of required industry codes
• Strong analytical skills and attention to detail

Preferred Qualifications

• Experience with Notifier alarm systems
