Fire Alarm and Security Foreman

Responsibilities

• Install conduit, wiring, and devices for low-voltage systems including fire alarm, access control, and video surveillance
• Coordinate field activities across multiple trades and maintain accurate as-built documentation
• Interpret blueprints and construction documents to ensure compliance with project requirements
• Lead field crews, schedule onsite resources, and ensure equipment availability
• Mentor and train Technicians and Helpers to meet quality and professionalism standards
• Communicate effectively with Project Managers, Operations, and external customers
• Identify field changes or scope gaps and collaborate with Project Managers on change orders
• Conduct onsite installation reviews and quality control checks

Requirements

• 3–5 years of experience in fire alarm, access control, CCTV, or low-voltage system installation
• Experience overseeing onsite tasks and providing direction to field teams
• Strong knowledge of NEC and NFPA requirements
• Ability to interpret blueprints and support change order development
• Strong written and verbal communication skills
• Ability to meet company driving eligibility requirements with a valid driver’s license

Preferred Qualifications

• NICET or other relevant technical certification
