About the role
Responsibilities
- Develop key relationships to locate suitable business opportunities
- Develop new client accounts purchasing company solutions and services in the NY/NJ Financial or Capital Market vertical
- Execute new business development as a hunter
- Utilize solution-selling strategies and tactics to foster consultative relationships
- Conduct effective cold calling and in-person visits to increase business
- Meet and exceed weekly, monthly, and quarterly goals
Requirements
- 5+ years of IT solution sales experience
- 3+ years of experience selling data management solutions into financial accounts or capital markets
- Excellent knowledge of capital markets, equities, or fixed income securities
- Proven experience in new business development (Hunter role)
- Strong experience selling data management, storage, and security solutions
- Highly developed selling, customer relations, and negotiation skills
