About the role

Responsibilities

  • Develop key relationships to locate suitable business opportunities
  • Develop new client accounts purchasing company solutions and services in the NY/NJ Financial or Capital Market vertical
  • Execute new business development as a hunter
  • Utilize solution-selling strategies and tactics to foster consultative relationships
  • Conduct effective cold calling and in-person visits to increase business
  • Meet and exceed weekly, monthly, and quarterly goals

Requirements

  • 5+ years of IT solution sales experience
  • 3+ years of experience selling data management solutions into financial accounts or capital markets
  • Excellent knowledge of capital markets, equities, or fixed income securities
  • Proven experience in new business development (Hunter role)
  • Strong experience selling data management, storage, and security solutions
  • Highly developed selling, customer relations, and negotiation skills
