FinOps IT Operational Support Supervisor

Responsibilities

• Oversee daily FinOps team operations, providing mentorship, technical support, and managing performance to build a strong team.
• Monitor and maintain IT FinOps systems, ensuring proper documentation, compliance, and adherence to standards.
• Lead the FinOps Managed Services team in delivering proactive IT support, system monitoring, and incident resolution.
• Implement IT service management (ITSM) practices to ensure consistent, high-quality service delivery and performance measurement.
• Collaborate with cloud engineering, infrastructure, and finance teams to align cloud spending with business goals.
• Manage the lifecycle of IT assets, including procurement, deployment, tracking, and decommissioning.
• Coordinate escalations and work with internal teams and vendors to resolve complex technical issues.

Requirements

• Bachelor’s Degree in Computer Science, IT, Cybersecurity, MIS, Engineering, Business, or a related field.
• 8+ years of diversified IT experience.
• 3+ years of professional experience in Cloud FinOps, Cloud Operations, or related roles.

Preferred Qualifications

• FinOps Certified Practitioner (FinOps Foundation) certification.
• Experience overseeing managed service provider (MSP) engagements.
• Advanced proficiency in Excel, financial modeling, and data analysis.
• Experience with IT service management (ITSM) processes and tooling.
• Experience with hardware/software lifecycle management and vendor management.
