Responsibilities
- Operate equipment in assigned areas while meeting all safety requirements
- Maintain equipment, work areas, and good housekeeping practices
- Meet established quality standards for the department
- Adhere to all Sonoco policies, procedures, and required safety training
- Wear required protective gear and participate in team meetings
- Work collaboratively with team members to complete daily production tasks
Requirements
- Previous manufacturing experience and/or training
- Ability to read and comprehend standard work instructions
- Proficiency in math and measuring skills
- High school diploma or GED
- Strong attendance record and ability to arrive to work on time
- Flexibility to work in a 24/7 operation with changing schedules
