Finisher I

Responsibilities

• Clean and detail the interior and exterior of vehicles during the production process
• Mix and apply touch-up paint to damaged areas
• Sand touch-ups flat and perform buffing/polishing for a high-quality finish
• Visually inspect vehicles to ensure they meet all quality control standards
• Maintain service tools and equipment within the detail department
• Handle and dispose of hazardous waste in accordance with contingency plans

Requirements

• Proficiency with common hand and power tools (e.g., drills, screw guns, caulk guns)
• Ability to work on ladders and scaffolding
• Ability to read, write, and perform mathematical computations
• Ability to work in a team environment and follow professional directions
• Ability to lift and move up to 40 lbs. and work in non-temperature-controlled environments
• Successful completion of drug and background screening

Preferred Qualifications

• 1-year of experience in a manufacturing environment
• High school diploma or GED
