Finish Millwork Carpenter

Responsibilities

• Read and interpret blueprints, drawings, and specifications to determine design and materials
• Measure, cut, and shape wood, laminates, and other materials with precision
• Construct and install cabinets, shelves, doors, and moldings
• Perform finishing work including sanding, staining, and varnishing
• Collaborate with project managers, designers, and other tradespeople
• Maintain a clean, organized work environment and well-maintained tools
• Adhere to safety protocols and guidelines on job sites

Requirements

• Minimum of 5 years of experience in finish carpentry or millwork
• Strong knowledge of woodworking techniques, materials, and tools
• Ability to read blueprints and technical drawings accurately
• Excellent attention to detail and craftsmanship
• Strong problem-solving skills and ability to work independently
• Effective communication skills
• Reliable transportation and valid driver's license
