About the role
Responsibilities
- Lead, coach, and supervise a crew of 2-6 Finish Carpenters and apprentices
- Perform high-quality installation of interior trim, crown molding, baseboards, cabinetry, and architectural features
- Complete detailed stair installations including handrails, balusters, and treads
- Read and interpret blueprints, architectural drawings, and finish schedules
- Estimate material requirements and coordinate work sequencing with other trades
- Maintain a clean, organized, and professional job-site in compliance with OSHA regulations
Requirements
- Minimum of 7 years of finish carpentry experience
- At least 2 years of experience leading or supervising carpentry crews
- Advanced knowledge of finish carpentry methods, materials, and installation techniques
- Expert proficiency with hand tools and power tools
- Valid driver's license and reliable transportation
- OSHA 10 certification or ability to obtain it within 90 days
Preferred Qualifications
- Residential contractor's license
- Experience with high-end residential and commercial construction projects
- Journeyman Carpenter certification or equivalent trade credential
- Familiarity with sustainable construction practices
