Finish Carpenter

Responsibilities

• Lead, coach, and supervise a crew of 2-6 Finish Carpenters and apprentices
• Perform high-quality installation of interior trim, crown molding, baseboards, cabinetry, and architectural features
• Complete detailed stair installations including handrails, balusters, and treads
• Read and interpret blueprints, architectural drawings, and finish schedules
• Estimate material requirements and coordinate work sequencing with other trades
• Maintain a clean, organized, and professional job-site in compliance with OSHA regulations

Requirements

• Minimum of 7 years of finish carpentry experience
• At least 2 years of experience leading or supervising carpentry crews
• Advanced knowledge of finish carpentry methods, materials, and installation techniques
• Expert proficiency with hand tools and power tools
• Valid driver's license and reliable transportation
• OSHA 10 certification or ability to obtain it within 90 days

Preferred Qualifications

• Residential contractor's license
• Experience with high-end residential and commercial construction projects
• Journeyman Carpenter certification or equivalent trade credential
• Familiarity with sustainable construction practices
