Financing Specialist

Responsibilities

• Optimise financing capacity by improving access to inventory and reducing costs
• Collaborate across trading desks on real-time and strategic trading decisions
• Maintain and develop relationships with prime brokers and external financing counterparties
• Help form long-term financing strategy by expanding financing activity
• Perform in-depth cost-benefit analysis on financing opportunities
• Apply technical skills to build and improve infrastructure supporting financing workflows

Requirements

• 3-7 years of related securities financing experience at a bank or buy-side firm
• Strong understanding of Asian market microstructure, mechanics, and stock loan markets
• Strong understanding of risk and risk consequences in Asian markets
• Ability to cultivate and manage relationships with prime brokers and clearing counterparties
• Strong analytical skills and experience with technical data analysis
• Effective communication and teamwork skills
• Fluency in English

Preferred Qualifications

• Experience across multiple asset classes and financing structures
• Fluency in Python, SQL, or other programming languages
