About the role
Responsibilities
- Oversee data submissions and ensure the integrity of the Vizient Benchmarking application for Michigan Medicine's Finance Organization.
- Manage application administration and data submissions for Vizient ODB and support enterprise-level production systems including Oracle Cloud Analytics and Oracle EPM Cloud.
- Lead the Vizient team in quarterly data submissions, monthly benchmark trend reporting, and change management efforts.
- Oversee data collections, validations, and integrations to ensure compliance with Vizient standards and internal controls.
- Manage end-user help-desk support, training, and the creation of data governance documentation such as data dictionaries and process flow diagrams.
- Provide leadership and team building, including budgeting, resource planning, and mentoring team members.
- Act as a vendor liaison for technical issues and contract administration.
Requirements
- Experience as a Vizient Coordinator responsible for data submissions and validation.
- Experience working with Financial and Clinical Healthcare data.
- Experience with Vizient ODB, Oracle Cloud EPM, Essbase, OBIEE/OAC, EPIC, or large ERP systems like Oracle PeopleSoft.
- 3 to 5 years of professional experience in accounting, finance, accounting information systems, or information management.
Preferred Qualifications
- MBA or similar graduate-level degree in Accounting or Accounting Information Systems.
- 5+ years of professional experience in accounting or finance with 3+ years of leadership experience.
- Strong understanding of technical accounting principles (GAAP and GASB).
- Experience with data modeling, relational databases, and ETL processes.
- Experience with Oracle Cloud Infrastructure and multidimensional DBMS.
- Proficiency in query, report writing, and data visualization tools.
