About the role
Responsibilities
- Support investment compliance platform implementations, upgrades, and transformation initiatives by validating data requirements.
- Analyze and validate security master, issuer, benchmark, account, portfolio, and reference data.
- Perform SQL-based analysis to investigate data quality issues and support implementation testing.
- Support data mapping, conversion, and integration efforts across compliance, portfolio management, and market data platforms.
- Conduct root cause analysis of compliance exceptions and monitoring discrepancies to identify data-related drivers.
- Partner with compliance, operations, and technology stakeholders to ensure data supports intended compliance outcomes.
- Support System Integration Testing (SIT), User Acceptance Testing (UAT), and production readiness activities.
- Document data requirements, mapping specifications, reconciliation procedures, and testing results.
Requirements
- Bachelor's degree in Finance, Business, Information Systems, Data Analytics, Engineering, or a related field.
- 3+ years of experience supporting investment management, investment compliance, or compliance technology implementations.
- Strong SQL skills with experience analyzing and validating complex investment data sets.
- Experience working with investment data domains including securities, issuers, benchmarks, accounts, and positions.
- Understanding of how investment data supports pre-trade and post-trade compliance monitoring processes.
- Experience participating in implementation projects, platform migrations, or technology transformations.
Preferred Qualifications
- Experience with Charles River Development (CRD), Aladdin, Bloomberg AIM, or Sentinel.
- Familiarity with compliance monitoring frameworks and investment guideline oversight.
- Knowledge of equity, fixed income, derivatives, and multi-asset investment products.
- Understanding of benchmark, issuer hierarchy, and security classification concepts.
